WildEarth
Guardians works to preserve the diversity of healthy ecosystems through all of
our programs. We apply that same fundamental belief to our fundraising efforts
and it helps explain how and why we’ve continued to grow our budget over the
past several years, even in an economic downturn.
We
have earned Charity Navigator's
seventh consecutive 4-star rating for our ability to efficienctly manage and grow
our finances. Only 4% of the charities Charity Navigator rates have received at
least 6 consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that WildEarth Guardians
consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, out performing
most other charities.
In
2010 WildEarth Guardians implemented both a staff Whistleblower Policy and
a Document Retention Policy, and a revised Privacy Policy to meet the highest
level of accountability and transparency. These added policies are reflected in our most recent 990.

Testimonials
My
husband and I have hiked in the West for over 20 years. We love
the wildlife and wilderness and believe both must be preserved. I
contribute monthly to WildEarth Guardians because they are at the
forefront of this fight to protect “the treasures of the West”.
--Charlotte and Steve Heldstab, Normal, IL, members since May 2008
I've spent many vacations in New Mexico, and I feel very connected to it.
I "tithe" to support nature conservation, so I'm happy to support
WildEarth Guardians' work to protect areas I care about.
--Sara Gann, Arlington, VA, Members since 2004
We
are amazed at the scope of projects WildEarth is concerned with and the
aggressive style of challenging rules and regulations that harm the
wild.
--Marilyn and Gene Monroe
I
salute and support Wildearth Guardians because they love and protect
not only the wildlife of our land but also the land upon which the
wildlife resides. Saving both is a good deal. Two for the
price of one -- you can't beat that!
--Ron Reading, Enfield, NH, Monthly Donor since 2008
